Problem started after about 3 weeks

Up until then, I had been gradually improving every day. Then one day, it was horrible, and it hasn't really improved a bit since then. I don't know if I slept on it wrong or if I aggrivated it somehow (I don't recall anything specific, but I was beginning to "use" my shoulder by then).

Just got back from the doc. He moved it around a lot and it pretty sure it is just inflammation. When he moves my arm around, it was fine...only hurts if I try use any of the muscles around the shoulder. Trying a different NSAID and I kinda talked him into giving me a cortizone shot (if the issue is just inflammation, that should in theory help). He just wants me to rest it for a bit now.

If I don't start seeing improvement shortly, I'll probably go for a 2nd opinion at UVA or MCV.
